Planning for Spring Break Travel

Water Bottle Options

One of the most important things for me whether I’m working at home or traveling on the road is staying hydrated. I drink water all day, every day, and keep my cup filled. Find the perfect water bottle and refill it constantly.

Check your Tote Bags

When is the last time you really looked at your overnight bags? Sure, you probably have the big suitcases that are great for heavy-duty travel, but do you have the smaller duffle bags that are more practical for weekend getaways? Look for solid construction, multiple pockets, and of course handles so you can carry or loop over your shoulder.

I love the Muscle Duffle that features one large exterior pocket with a flap and 2 zipped side pockets.  It has leather accents brass closures and also comes with an adjustable should strap and features two handles with a leather connector for easy carrying. Personalize the duffle with an initial monogram to help it stand out!

For the lighter side of weekend travel, the Weekend Royalty Bag is crafted from 20 oz. cotton canvas material, includes two zippered pockets, one big and one small with leather pulls, and is accompanied by a fully adjustable shoulder strap. Each bag can be personalized with up to three custom embroidered monogram initials. This bag is slightly smaller and a little more chic for the quick getaways on your calendar.

Stock up on Sunscreen

Sunscreen is a must-have on almost all Spring Break trips. After spending so much time indoors throughout the winter months, it’s tough on our skin to get too much exposure to the sun. Maui Vera offers spa-quality natural sunscreen products designed to soothe and protect your skin and the planet. The Reef-Friendly SPF30 Mineral Sunscreen and After Sun Gel are perfect for everyday use and provide clean healing that’s gentle to the touch.

Replace Your Toothbrush

Did you know that you should replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months? When you start packing for your next weekend getaway, remember to purchase a new toothbrush and start the trip fresh. I love having backup toothbrushes in my cabinet so the family can replace them regularly. I’m currently using Doctor Plotka’s Manual Toothbrush that you can order online and have delivered right to your door. With silver-infused bristles that naturally eliminate 99% of bacteria, viruses, and fungi within 6 hours, you can rely on clean bristles!

Now that you have all the gear ready for your spring break trip, you can start planning the fun part. Bring out the maps and travel books so you can start dreaming. Where are you planning to travel to next? I’d love to hear!
