35 Easy Mason Jar Holiday Crafts

Do you have extra mason jars in your garage or cabinets that you are not using?  Did you pick them up at yard sales or thrift stores this summer with ideas for using them for crafts but haven’t found the time to do anything amazing?  I have 35 easy mason jar holiday crafts that turn these empty jars into gifts, table centerpieces and even household decor.  The good thing is that some of these ideas are so super simple that anyone can do them!

Reindeer Gift

  • Chocolate Ball Rudolph

SUPER EASY Fill the mason jar with chocolate balls.  Add googly eyes, red nose, ribbon and pipe cleaner antlers or do what I did.  Just tie craft twine around the lid and glue on a simple red button.  Elegant and festive!  (and easy!)

Rudolph Mason Jar Christmas Crafts

Snowman Gift

SUPER EASY  Fill the mason jar with marshmallows.  Glue on 3 buttons.  Tie a festive ribbon around the top for the scarf.

Grinch Gift

SUPER EASY  Fill the mason jar with green chocolate candies.  Glue a red heart on the front.  Tie a red ribbon around the top.

Santa Gift

SUPER EASY  Fill the mason jar with red chocolate candies or cinnamon discs.  Cut out a black belt out of construction paper or use a black ribbon.  Use a pop top from a soda can for a belt buckle if you want to really take it up a notch!  Glue on a button above the belt. Tie a red ribbon around the top or add a Santa Claus hat!

EASY (Purchase Recommended) Purchase Mason Jar Wire Hangers from your favorite craft store or Amazon. Simply drop in votive candles and hang them around your home.  If you prefer the battery candles, you can purchase them on Amazon or at your favorite craft store.
