What do you do with empty candy wrappers when you don’t want to just throw them away? Why not turn them into an easy tote bag? Just start collecting the empty wrappers, pick up a roll of packing tape and grab some scissors and you are ready to create a fun upcycled tote bag using your favorite candy wrappers!

How to Turn Candy Wrappers into a Tote Bag

Fist step – Eat all the candy…. Then, you can begin the project!

For this tote bag, I used 2 SNICKERS® bags and 3 M&M’s® bags. For the side panels, I used the individual fun size bar wrappers.

Materials Needed:

Packing Tape
Candy Wrappers
Scissors

Instructions:

Tape the 5 large bags together to form one long panel.

Once you have the panel put together, and the small wrappers taped into rows, fold the panel into a bag shape. Tape them together to form the bag.

Use Duct tape to reinforce the handle on the inside.

Now you have a great tote bag that lets you show off your favorite candy brand at the same time!
