Journaling through the Bible
Every morning for many years, when I read my Bible, I underline something and put the date. When something sticks out, I will make a little note in the margin. But in my Bible, there’s not very much space, so some of the pages can get a little busy.

Journaling through the Bible
Many people in my family have written in their Bibles. At one point, my mother-in-law read through the Bible in a year, wrote something special every day, and then gave it to her grandson.
When my daughter graduated from high school and then when my son turned 19, we got family members to sign a Bible and underline some of their favorite Bible verses. This was a special way to give them something to take with them into their next life chapter.

When my son went off to the military, we did the same thing and had people underline and write encouraging notes in the leaf of the New Testament that he took with him to boot camp.
In 1967, my granddaddy gave my grandmother a Bible for their 20th anniversary, and she used that Bible for many years. There are underlines, arrows, circles, and written notes of things where God was speaking in her daily reading. I love reading from this Bible and seeing how the same verses that I am reading today meant something special to her so many years ago.

Making notes, adding dates, and journaling through the Scripture is such a personal way to keep track of the ways that God has brought His Word to life in different seasons.
But sometimes the edges of the Bible are not large enough. There are wide-margin Bibles with several inches of space to record your notes, but what if you really want to journal and take extensive notes?
I received a copy of the She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible that takes journaling to the next level. If you are a person who loves to journal and take notes when you read Scripture, this Bible may be just what you are looking for.
