2020: The Year of Possibilities
Every year I think about choosing a new word for the year, but each time I keep coming back to the same word – POSSIBILITIES! I love the excitement of planning a new year and dreaming about the possibilities for what the next 12 months will hold.
But all that dreaming about the ‘what can be’ is nothing if I don’t put feet to my dreams and start working toward the goals.
2020 is a brand new year and I am so excited to once again bring you ideas for travel adventures, crafty ‘stuff’ and ways to make memories with your families! I am already working on Spring and Summer posts and have my eyes on some great adventures and memory opportunities you’re going to want to be a part of!
When I was in a local Mcdonalds recently, I found this wall covered with several US states and knew I had to take a picture! Will this be the year you travel on an amazing road trip? Will you find some gorgeous waterfall? Make your first afghan? What do you have on your list of things to experience?
These last few weeks I have been rediscovering my love for crochet. After multiple attempts, frustrations and even a few tears since I couldn’t ask my Grandma how to do the chevron pattern, I have a family member who stepped in and helped me figure it out. Thanks to Gloria, I am now making great progress on this new afghan.
Whether you are traveling far or near or spending time at home in your living room in front of a fireplace, the possibilities are endless!
What is your word for the year? I’d love to hear!
My word for this year is service. Every day I will be asking God to show me ways to serve others, to help others, and to serve my Lord in the process of caring for His people.
Such a great word and goal! And you do already show that word in your daily life!
