Easy Scrap Copper Hearts

I love finding super simple ways to create something special out of a piece of scrap. Recently, I found some pieces of scrap copper and have been having a great time creating Christmas tree ornaments and now Valentine’s hearts. These take less than 10 minutes and give a festive, whimsical look to the potted plants that I have sitting out on my kitchen counter. • Punch (optional)

Directions

  • Draw a simple heart on a piece of paper
  • Use your pliers to shape the copper into a simple heart

Each copper heart may look a little different. Depending on the length of your scrap copper, some of the hearts will be smaller than others. This simply adds to the charm!
