Dreaming of Daffodils

It’s mid-November and I’m already dreaming of daffodils….and tulips….and crocuses…. ok, you get the idea. Today my husband surprised me with several bags of daffodil and tulip bulbs that he found at Walmart for 50% off!

He knows that my absolute favorite flower is the daffodil and I’ve always dreamed of having hundreds of of them in bloom in my yard. With what I already have planted, plus the new additions that we have just planted, we may well have an even more beautiful yard this spring!

But this is what I had in bloom last March.

So, now you know why I’m dreaming of Spring!

Are you planning for next spring? Have you checked the “big box stores” this week? They probably have all the spring bulbs on discount so they can get the Christmas decorations in place.
