A New Bible Gift for Students

When my daughter graduated from high school, we had family members sign a new Bible for her to take with her into her next chapter of life. But I honestly ran out of time to do that for my son when he left for college this fall. So this past month, we gave him the Enduring Word Study Bible (NKJV) to take back to the dorm with him. Numbers 6:24–26 has always been one of my favorites—a blessing I often pray over my family: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” College can be such a challenging time for young adults as they face new decisions and independence. My prayer is that God will bless them and give them peace as they navigate all that’s ahead.

Another verse I love that I absolutely love when it comes to my kids is 3 John 1:3–4: “It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth… I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” What a gift it is to see them continue to walk in that truth.
