Never Too Old for Hobbies

Last week we spent the day with my 92 year old Grandma. She is proof that no one is too old to pursue their hobbies.

When she is not reading a book, or pulling weeds in her garden you’ll probably find her crocheting another row on her afghan or watching a movie. Of course, that is when she’s at home.

If you plan to visit Grandma, better make sure you call first. She may be out shopping at Kroger, playing cards with her friends or doing something with her church.

But then she may not even be in town. She may be out on a road trip to visit her family or headed to another state with her senior adult friends.

My Grandma may be 92 years old, but she is still living life and enjoying her hobbies, friends and family.

Now, that’s the kind of life I want to live. I want to stay busy living my life every single day and never quit doing the things that make life special!
