America 250 Bracelets & Keychains
It’s time to celebrate America’s birthday, so let’s create something super simple and fun to wear as you join the party!
In just 15 minutes, you can string some beads and make an easy stretch bracelet. Or, take the same beads and a simple keychain bar and create a fun backpack pull or keychain. This is such an easy project to share with your friends and family.

America 250 Bracelets & Keychains
Materials Needed

Directions
Decide what pattern you want to use. All red, then all white, then all blue? Or maybe you want to rotate the beads in a red, white, and blue pattern. There’s no right or wrong option.

Simply string enough beads to wrap around your wrist. I measured about 7 inches for an average adult bracelet and used approximately 25–35 beads, depending on the bead size.
I doubled the elastic to make sure it was really strong.
When you are done adding your beads, simply tie a knot, then another, and even one more if you want to be really secure.
Now you are ready to show your American spirit every time you head out the door!
Tip: You can order little cross charms, or simply recyle crosses from a unused necklace like I did. Just use wire cutters and cut the crosses away from the necklace chain.
Keychain Bar

Materials Needed
- Keychain bar
- Red, white, and blue beads

Directions
These keychain bars are so easy. Just unscrew the end cap and add your beads. When you are done adding your beads, screw the end cap back on, and you’re all set.
Attach it to your keychain, backpack, or even a purse, and you’re ready for your America 250 fun!

Are you planning anything fun to celebrate this milestone event this weekend??
