How to Print, Store & Display Photo Memories

I don’t know about you, but printing pictures is just not at the top of my list of things to do. I love taking and sharing pictures, but I am not a fan of the process of printing the photos. What I hate even more is spending tons of money on prints that get stuffed in the closet and never get seen again. Today, I’m sharing some great ideas that will make it easier to print, store and display your favorite photo memories.

How to Print, Store & Display Photo Memories

Print Photo Tiles

If you have a series of pictures that you want to frame and display, then Mixtiles may be just what you are dreaming of. This is the simplest way to order and display your favorite photos. Just download the Mixtiles app, select your images and choose your frame. Mixtiles does the rest. They ship your tiles ready to hang on your wall. No nails needed. Simply peel off the tape on the back, add them directly to your wall and leave no damage behind!

Print from your phone

If you have a convenience store near you, then download the store app, upload your pictures and select pick up in store. I do this often with our local Walgreens. This is a super simple way to get the photos off your phone and printed. Do a search online for a coupon code and you can often save a few dollars at the same time.

Look for Rebates:

When you are ready to order your prints online, make sure you start at Mr. Rebates Many online photo sites will offer a rebate just for starting your shopping on the Mr. Rebates site.  You simply type in the photo company you plan to use.  For example, Snapfish offers 6% rebate!  Since you are planning to order the pictures anyway, why not get some money put back in your pocket!

Store your pictures the Smart Way:

Several years ago I discovered these photo storage boxes that make organizing my extra photos a snap.   I found these plastic photo storage boxes that allow me to separate my pictures into years and events. There are 16 individual plastic boxes that hold 100 4×6 pictures each. I have been sorting my pictures into events and years. I can now just open the plastic storage box and pull out the pictures from our vacation in 1999 or from 2003 and see what we did that year. Talk about easy storage! I feel so organized now!

Buy a photo album:

Plan for success by ordering or purchasing a photo album today.  I use a simple 3 Ring Photo Albums that allows me to just slide the pictures in the slots in order.  Sure the scrapbooks are amazing and look so nice sitting out on the coffee table, but in reality many people get bogged down with time commitments and then feel guilty that these photos from their baby’s first year haven’t been completed.  So save yourself the time and guilt and just slide the pictures in an old fashioned album.

Of course, there are some of you who love to scrapbook.  By all means, then do them!  Love them and enjoy the finished product.  But if you are not one of the scrapbook lovers, then find an easier option.

Display on the wall:

If you love to display your photos but hate when they get outdated, then you may want to try one of the easy hanging photo storage options.  I have a plastic frame that allows me to slide in random 4×6 pictures as I get them printed.  I can change them out anytime I want to.  There are many varieties of Hanging Photo Displays that give you the option to switch out your photos easily.

The iPhone Photography Book

If you use your phone as your main camera like many of us do, then The iPhone Photography book is packed full of tips and tricks to help improve your photographs.

The world’s #1 best-selling photography techniques author is about to break all the rules as he shows you how to apply the same techniques today’s top pro photographers use to make stunning images.
