Why Choose Drury Inn & Suites St Louis

When we are on one of our epic road trips, there are three things that are non negotiable: each member of the family must have a good place to sleep; we need a little personal space, and we want to have good food!  The Drury Inn & Suites in St Louis offered everything we need and provided each of these things for our family.

Why Choose Drury Inn & Suites St Louis

Kickback Supper & Breakfast Provided

We arrived at the Drury Inn just in time for their KickBack Supper option. This 5:30 pm Kickback® is available each evening for registered guests at no additional charge. Instead of having to go back out for supper, we were able to unload our suitcases and then come down to the restaurant area for a supper of baked potatoes, fried chicken strips, soup, salad and a full nacho bar.  There was something for everyone in the family and it saved us the cost of an additional meal. Check here for a sample menu for the 5:30 Kickback®!

They even had a popcorn machine and sodas/coffee available throughout the evening.

In the morning stop in and enjoy the included hot breakfast so you can start your day fueled and ready to go!

Swimming Pool/Fitness Center

Many hotels have a swmming pool, but not all of them have an indoor/outdoor pool where you can swim back and forth.  A few minutes in the pool, a little time on the treadmill and the family was ready to tackle the next day.

Loyalty program

Remember to always provide your hotel loyalty number when you check in to a hotel. If you are checking in to a hotel where you have not stayed before, ask the front desk manager how to sign up for their program.  It is always a wise move to earn loyalty points when you stay in a chain restaurant. That way you can earn points toward a free stay later on another road trip.

Tip:  Sign up for the free Drury Rewards program here.

Comfortable Sleep for the Family

With a famly of 5 and 3 teenagers,  it takes some space for us to all get a comfortable nights sleep.  We always make sure we have 2 queen beds and then get a room with a pull out couch whenever possible.  If that is not available, then we pack a cot for our oldest.

We just finished a trip where we covered over 4,000 miles in a minivan. That means we spent a lot of time together  So when we arrive at a hotel, we take advantage of the chance to get a little personal space. The Drury Inn & Suites gave us plenty of space – the couch was even in a separated living room area. This is a key ingredient for a successful family trip!

Have you ever stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites? What did you think?
