Free Offers Worth Signing Up For

Back when I first started blogging in 2009, I loved posting and sharing deals and free offers. I was always scavenging the internet looking for free samples, deals and special offers. If you spend any time on the internet looking for free samples and fun stuff, you will see that many of the free offers aren’t really that practical. But there are some really cool offers that I signed up for that look like fun! Here are the best of the free stuff offers that you really do want to sing up for!

Hobbies on a Budget uses affiliate links on some of these offers.

Free Offers Worth Signing Up For

ToysRus Birthday Club

Sign your kids up for the ToysRUs Birthday Club. Each year they will receive a postcard with a coupon and an offer for something special in store. I’m not sure how long this new offer will last, but this year the free special gift was this plush Geoffrey and the birthday book! Fun!

Free Pass to all National Parks

If you have a 4th grader in your household, you can get a FREE pass for the whole family with the Every Kid in a Park program!

Free LEGO Magazine

Sign up for the FREE LEGO Life Magazine! My kids got this magazine in the mailbox for years, but now they have outgrown it. Talk about fun while it lasted!

LEGO Life Magazine is the ultimate print experience for LEGO fans. The magazine will be in your mailbox 5 times a year filled with awesome stuff like comics, fun activities, challenging competitions and interviews. Keep up with your favorite characters and themes, and discover what other LEGO builders are creating. Ready to sign your child up for LEGO Life Magazine? If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 9, set up your LEGO ID account, activate and subscribe to the magazine.

Free Friday Download – Kroger

Every Friday, you can download a digital coupon for a FREE item! This offer is available exclusively to Customers with a Kroger.com account.

Birthday Freebies

There are many places that will give you free appetizers or desserts on your birthday. Though I have not signed up for the birthday freebies on this list, it’s a great place to start looking.

Achievmint

Achievmint is a free app that awards points for behavior. You have to earn 10,000 points before you get your first payout, but if I’m going to wear my FitBit anyway, I might as well let the points slowly accrue. You can earn points for sleeping, drinking water, recording your weight and of course getting your steps in. The great thing is that it is automatic. I don’t have to do a thing now that I have set up my account. It easily connected with my Fitbit and now I just let the points add up!

How much does this cost? Nothing! It’s FREE! If you have any sort of app or device to track your fitness, it probably is included in this program (Jawbone, Garmin, Apple Health, Runkeeper, MyFitnessPal, and many more…).

Walgreens Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices

Create a free Walgreens Balance Rewards account, link your device or app and start earning points to spend at Walgreens. If you are already a Walgreens shopper, then your points will add up even faster!

Dicks Sporting Goods

If you shop at Dicks Sporting Goods and sign up for a free Scorecard (a simple loyalty card), you can earn 3 points for every day you hit your 10,000 step goal. You simply sign up for a free card, and then sync your device. It’s a slow process getting to the 300 point payout ($10.00) but again, if I’m going to be walking the steps anyway, then I might as well be earning free money!

What free things have you signed up for that you can recommend?  I’d love to hear!
