Knoxville Sunsphere & World’s Fair Park

|

Today we spent the day being a tourist in Knoxville, TN with our friends Kayelynn and Lianna. We had hoped to spend 24 hours camping out in a Chick Fil A parking lot as part of the First 100 for the newest restaurant opening but didn’t get chosen. So we chose to find a backup plan and enjoy our time in the city. We know the key to any successful day adventure is having options where the kids are exploring and having new experiences while keeping them from getting too hot in the summer sun! The Knoxville Sunsphere would be a great option.

The Knoxville Sunsphere

The Sunsphere was constructed for the 1982 World’s Fair and during that time, it served as the symbol to the Fair.
