Hobbies on a Budget is a family travel and lifestyle blog where I share simple crafts, homestead experiences, road trip ideas, and tips to help families experience and make memories with the ones we love.

As a family travel & lifestyle blogger, I understand that relationships are the key to connecting brands, destinations, and venues with her readers. Travel and lifestyle blogging is all about continuing to give readers the opportunity to dream and plan their next adventure.

When you work with me, you are creating long-term relationships with her audience. Each post is interlinked with future follow-up articles that create a strong connection with other posts, which in turn gives more people the opportunity to connect with your brand.

I have been blogging since 2009 and understand that it takes a community to become a better blogger and writer. I grew up in the rolling hills of central Kentucky where I continue to live with my husband and three kids.

Who am I?

I am a WAHM (work-at-home mom) with 3 teenagers and have been married for 25(+) years! Just like you, I am involved in many things.

I love to travel, spend time with my kids, blog and read! But sometimes life kicks in and all my time is devoted to doing laundry, helping the kids do homework and trying to maintain a semblance of order.

When I ask my friends what they do for fun, I often get a blank look and a little laugh. Fun? What’s that? Life is too busy and my budget doesn’t allow for any splurges.

This website is intended to help us rediscover what makes us unique as individuals by offering tips for pursuing our hobbies without breaking our budget.
