Visiting Beehind Thyme Farms

Some days you plan for adventure, other times you ‘stumble’ upon it. Recently I discovered one of the neatest places in central Kentucky.  Beehind Thymes farm is one of those places that you come for a quick visit and then realize you could stay for hours.  Located just minutes south of Campbellsville, Kentucky right off of highway 55, a visit to Beehind Thyme Farms is an opportunity to escape from the stress of the world and step into a place of peace and quiet.

If you are looking for locally grown mums or other seasonal flowers, you can pull in and make a purchase at the Farm Stand.  It’s an honor system, so make your purchase and leave your money.  The selection is amazing no matter what time of year you visit.

If you are interested in browsing the selection of local KY Proud creations, you will find everything you need and things you may not know you even wanted. Soaps, flower arrangements, succulents, honey, or apple butter – the inventory is deep and the atmosphere is just perfect.

Step out on the back porch and wander through the gardens. Depending on when you come, you may share the path with a few chickens as they forage for seeds.

Spend a few minutes in the Potting Shed and see what is being prepped for the next season.

Continue your path around another water fountain and embrace the quiet that comes as you explore the gardens.

Enjoy the sounds of the chickens and listen to the wind rustle through the trees.

A visit to Beehind Thyme Farm is an opportunity to just breathe and recenter yourself.

But you can also come to the farm and learn in one of the upcoming workshops.  Each month there is a different focus where you may be able to create your own flower arrangement, build a living wreath or learn how to grow and propagate a new plant.  Follow on Facebook so you will be able to sign up as soon as the new schedule is announced.
