This is My Story Tumbler
One of the most loved hymns of all time is Blessed Assurance: “This is my story. This is my song. Praising my Savior, all the day long.” I decided to add these phrases to an aluminum water tumbler just in time for a gift for someone special. You all know how much I love my Cricut Mug Press but that machine isn’t great for skinny water bottles. So for this project, I am testing a Mug Machine that my aunt found on eBay. *This design would also work well on traditional coffee mugs.

This is my Story Tumbler
- Mug Machine
- Aluminum Sports Bottle
- Infusible Ink – Retro Ombre
- Weeding Tool (optional)
- Heat Resistant Tape
- Cricut machine of choice

Directions
- Create your design or use my free pattern here.
- Measure the size of your tumbler so you will know how large to cut and print your design.
- Cut your infusible ink to the correct size.
While your design is printing, measure the Mug Machine and tighten as needed so you will be ready.

Weed the design and attach to the water tumbler using heat-safe tape.

Warm up the Mug Machine and insert it into the heat press. You can tighten the machine so it will heat the entire water bottle at once. I waited till the machine was 350°and then started at 1 minute. If the design has not transferred at that time, then you may want to wait another 30-45 seconds.
The water bottle will be very hot so use a towel or heat-safe tongs to remove and then allow to cool completely.
Have you made any new infusible ink designs? I’d love to see what you are working on in your craft room!
