Many people are on a mission to get healthy in 2013. I see bloggers everywhere talking about how this is the year that they will get their weight, diet or exercise under control and make some distinct changes. There are two small appliances that I have my eye on that would help me in my quest to get healthier this year. Curious as to what two small appliances are on my wish list?
Small Appliances to Get us Healthy
I have some definite goals for 2013. My main goal is that I want to be healthier by the time my next birthday comes around than I was this last birthday. I want to be physically able to go hiking with my kids even when they get older. I want my kids to learn healthy eating alternatives so they can enjoy tasty treats but keep their bodies healthy and active.
My family loves ice cream. In fact, the kids are old enough now that when we splurge on ice cream we don’t have any leftover for later. Since I know that ice cream is a trigger food for me and my kids, I am looking into buying a Yonanas Ice Cream Maker. It’s priced at $49.99 at Best Buy, but if I use the 20% off coupon at the bottom of the page and start shopping at a rebate site like Mr Rebates, I think it may just fit my budget really soon!
Enjoy a healthy snack with this Healthy Foods Yonanas 902 ice cream maker that turns frozen bananas and other frozen fruits into a delicious, nutritious soft-serve treat. The removable lid, along with a dishwasher-safe design, ensures simple cleanup.
I recently read a blog review about the Yonanas Ice Cream Maker. She and her family absolutely loved it!
When I had babies and toddlers, I was always moving. But now that all three kids are in school, I sometimes end up sitting at the computer more often than I spend up and moving. I recently heard about the FitBit Zip that works as a step counter but offers incentives to help you meet goals and keep you encouraged to get moving. I’ve been really curious and love the idea of a step counter that takes it one more notch.
Use your computer or Bluetooth 4.0-enabled mobile phone or tablet to monitor your workout progress with this Fitbit Zip 301M activity tracker that wirelessly syncs with your device and tracks steps taken, distance traveled and calories burned.
Priced at $59.99 the FitBit Zip does seem a bit pricey just to motivate me to get moving. But sometimes if you spend a little money, you’re more motivated to keep at it.
Here’s a 20% off coupon for any small appliance in Best Buy stores.
