Now that Fall is here, it’s time to break out the spices and create some amazing pumpkin inspired recipes. Since I love to create smoothies for mid morning snacks, I decided to try a peanut butter, pumpkin spice smoothie last week. Now it’s one of my favorite flavors!
Peanut Butter Pumpkin Spice Smoothie
Smoothies are a perfect way to satisfy a sweet craving without derailing your healthy goals. By adding in some protein filled peanut butter, you can make it a filling snack. This peanut butter, pumpkin spice smoothie is sure to become a favorite for the fall season!
The beauty of this type of smoothie is that you can adjust it to your personal taste. I have to admit that I don’t really measure out the ingredients for a single serving smoothie. I add a handful of icecubes, about a cup of milk and a nice spoonful of peanut butter to blender.
Sprinkle about 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, and approximately 1/8 tsp of cloves, ginger and nutmeg.
Blend till smooth. Serve immediately!
If coffee is more your personal favorite, then feel free to substitute coffee instead of milk to create a peanut butter coffee smoothie.
