Midwest Fall Break Road Trip

We have been out on another epic road trip! This time we hit 7 states in 7 days and have some great adventures to share with you. We have learned about Paul Bunyan and the logging industry in Wisconsin, cheered on the runners in the Chicago Marathon, ridden roller coasters in the Mall of America, visited presidential birthplaces and libraries, and explored Wisconsin Dells on the Original Ducks!

Hobbies on a Budget received discounts or tickets to help facilitate this trip. All opinions are my own. Amazon Affiliate links may be included in this post which means that if you make a purchase through these links, I will receive payment.

The kids have read books; we’ve caught up on all our favorite podcasts, and listened to two Louis Lamour audiobooks. We’ve eaten Jelly Bellies Belly Flops, fresh Wisconsin Cheese Curds and tried SPAM at the SPAM Museum. We’ve learned about John Wayne, Benjamin Harrison, Herbert Hoover, Paul Bunyan, Ronald Reagan and much much more! Here’s a quick overview of our Midwest road trip and of course, you know that I will be sharing tips and resources to help you plan your next family road trip over the next few weeks!
