May the Faith be with You Book Review
Unless you are living under a rock, you know that there is a huge movie coming out next month that has many fans going crazy. My kids are excited and can’t wait to see what this new release brings to the adventure series. Since they are so excited about the movie release, it came as a no surprise that when my 8 year old son saw this devotional book called May the Faith Be with You: 180 devotions that are out of this world he wanted to read it for himself.
Hobbies on a Budget received a copy of this book for the purpose of the review. No monetary compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
May the Faith be with You Book Review
Setting aside a time for a daily devotional is not always an easy thing – esp when you are an 8 year old boy. One thing that sometimes seem to work in our family is to read a quick verse or devotional while we are eating a pop tart or bowl of cereal after the first rush of the morning is over and our teenager and Dad have left for school.
May the Faith Be with You: 180 devotions that are out of this world is exactly the size devoitional that works well for those quick moments when life is spinning forward faster than you realize.
Each of the devotions is a simple one page look at a verse with a thought, a highlight truth and a practical application. But, of course, in keeping with the theme of the book, each section of the devotion is titled something cool.
You have the “Master Moment”, the “Ways of Wisdom” and the practical application called “Use the Force”.
About the Book:
Life in the Spirit isn’t about cushioned pews and easy living—it’s about adventure, risk, daring, and the pursuit of wisdom. It’s about letting the awesome power of God work through you to do things you never thought possible.
In this brand-new 180-day devotional, you’ll learn the highest, truest, and most rewarding way to a life of wisdom, apprenticing with the Ultimate Master himself—Jesus Christ. May the Faith Be With You will give you a devotional experience that’s out of this world.
Our Thoughts
May the Faith Be with You: 180 devotions that are out of this world is a timely release and will be a great choice for fans of the Star Wars series. I think some of the devotions are very simplistic for kids on the older end of elementary school. But it is a great option to offer fans who are looking for short devotionals with a fun twist.
You can order May the Faith Be with You: 180 devotions that are out of this world from Amazon.com or request it at your local library.
