The older I get the more I realize that I don’t really need or want alot of stuff. Sure, it’s fun to have new things, but when it really matters, all I want is time spent with my family and friends. The ultimate gift during the holiday season is the gift of time. When you spend time with someone, you are showing how much you truly appreciate and value the relationship. There are many ways to give the gift of time, but one way is to actually give a timepiece. This gift of time can be a constant reminder of how special each moment is and how we can make our moments count!

Give the Gift of Time
My family is in a busy season of life. The kids are involved in so many different things that we have to manage our calendars very closely. I use an online calendar app that allows us to all be able to keep track of all the events. But sometimes it’s very difficult to manage all of our schedules. We have to prioritize and figure out ways to make sure we are all in the right place the right time. My high school son has been needing a new watch so he could keep up with the time and his schedule when he is in class and unable to use his phone.
I am excited so excited to partner with Wood Watches by JORD and give him the gift of time this holiday season. This unique watch is made out of wood and handcrafted. It’s a perfect fit for him!
Interesting tip: These watches are not called Jord with a hard j sound. No, you actually pronounce Jord with a y sound and make it sound like the word “toad”. So when you say Jord it sounds like yoad!.
Jord is focused on creating timepieces that are modeled after a modern lifestyle. We value sustainability, efficiency, and experiential living. We make our watches for people who don’t just have somewhere to be, they have somewhere to go.
It has a nice comfortable feel and is perfect for him to wear on all his activities, whether he is headed to an ROTC event or debating a bill at the state capital.
Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time. ~ Jord
When you place an order for your Jord watch you will be asked for your size. Each watch is perfectly sized to fit each person. But if you misjudge the size, don’t worry. You can take your watch to a jeweler or contact Jord watches to easily and quickly remove some of the links to make sure it fits.
The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Jord
How do you plan to give the gift of time this holiday season? Whether you physically give a watch or timepiece to the person you love or make plans to get together for hot chocolate and a tree trimming party, make sure you think about the importance of spending time with people you love.
