Gift Ideas for Operation Christmas Child
All year long, we have been creating custom mugs with the Cricut Mug Press to share with family and friends. This year as we prepare for the holiday season, I am teaming up with my Mom and Aunt to create personalized mugs to share with children in the community and around the world. This week the focus is the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Outreach. If you love crafting with a purpose, then this idea may be just what you need.

Gift Ideas for Operation Christmas Child
Barbara, Ritchie, Natalie, and I teamed up to fill a dozen shoeboxes for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Outreach. (Deadline for national drop-offs is right around the corner so today’s the day to get started. Looking for ideas to fill your shoebox? Click here for a comprehensive guide to getting started.)
**If you miss the deadline for Operation Christmas Child, then you can still use this idea for your Angel Trees or local children’s home.
We decided that each of the boxes should include a stainless steel tumbler cup with a lid so the kids could have a daily reminder that someone in Kentucky cares about them. Barbara ordered the mugs, Ritchie did some in-store shopping and I started making mugs!
One of the key messages that kids all around the world need to hear is that they are loved. So when we made these mugs for the kids, we went with the simple timeless truth that “Jesus Loves Me“.
