Serving the family a healthy snack is not always an easy thing. Each member of the family has individual tastes and preferences for what they like in a smoothie. We’ve solved that problem in our house by using a Personal Blender. This allows us to mix up a great tasting smoothie depending on what ingredients we have on hand and what flavor sounds good at the moment.
Easy Smoothies for the Family
One of my favorite seasonal drinks right now is this peanut butter, pumpkin spice smoothie. It is so simple to make and really hits the spot as a mid morning “pick me up” snack.
Smoothie Tip: Use peanut butter to add a boost of protein and help your smoothie achieve the thick consistency of an icecream drink.
Smoothie tip: Use local honey to get natural sweetness and the benefits! Local raw honey contains pollen that is specific to your area and therefore can possibly help those seasonal allergies.
