Easy Crochet Christmas Tree Ornaments
Materials Needed
- Green and White Yarn
- Crochet Hook
- Wooden Beads
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
Directions
Crochet a simple chain about 12 inches long. I used a crochet hook size 5 so did about 40 loops on the chain. If you use a different size hook, you may have more or less.
Turn back and crochet back down the chain. You can use whatever stitch you prefer. I used single crochet on a couple of them and a half double on the others.
Cut your yarn and pick up your yarn needle.
- Attach a wooden bead at the bottom to form the base of the tree.
- Push your needle through the first layer and then attach a bead between each additional layer of the tree
- When you get to the top, make a loop with your yarn to use to hang your ornament
These simple crochet Christmas tree ornaments are a bit addictive. It’s impossible to make just one. So take a few minutes and make a bunch so you can share them with your family and friends this holiday season.
Looking for other ornaments to make for your Christmas tree? How about your children’s first baby sock? These three ornaments are my favorite ornaments on the Christmas tree each year.
