Dreaming of Spring

With the snow/rain/ice mixture predicted for the next 7 days, I can’t help but dream of fresh fruit, vegetables from the garden and beautiful flowers in bloom. I thought that some of you might be dreaming of warm weather too. Here are some of my favorite things about the Spring in Kentucky.

Whether it’s tulips and daffodils in the the first of March or picking green beans and bell peppers in the late summer months, working in the gardens provides beauty and good times. I’m dreaming of Spring! Are you?

Dreaming of Spring

Some people are already going through seed catalogs or outlining their new garden beds. Others are simply watching the calendar plod through winter one day at a time while they wait for the first buds of Spring. Last year I put together this Spring Flower Magazine with some of the tips and articles that talk about gardens and flowers. I know some of you missed it last year, so here it is! Click here or on the Tulip picture below to access the Spring 2013 Flower Magazine. I can’t wait till Spring gets here so I can see what beauty will grow in my yard this year!

  1. I’m mostly looking forward to a bike ride around the neighborhood in search of the first shoots of daffodils poking up their little heads. Spring…bring it on!
