My daughter turns 11 today! If you are a fan of the Harry Potter series, then you know that the eleventh birthday is a special day! That’s when you receive your acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Since she is in the middle of book five and our family is a big fan of the books, I knew she had to receive her Hogwarts letter this morning. But I didn’t want to spend much time or money on this fun surprise. Here’s how easy it is to create a Free Hogwarts Acceptance Letter.
How to Create a Free Hogwarts Acceptance Letter
Go here to customize the letter for free. You will have the option of addressing it to the person of your choice and can update the address.
Then choose to download the printable version.
There are 3 pages included. You get the letter, the supply list and the printable envelope with the Hogwarts stamp. Just cut out the envelope on the lines.
I used a simple glue stick to finish off the envelope.
The finishing touch for the envelope is the wax seal. Just melt down some wax and pour a small amount onto the back of the envelope.
Since I don’t have the official Hogwarts seal to imprint the H, we just used the inkpen to make the H.
Total time from start to finish: 15 minutes
Total cost: $0
Memories and Laughter: Priceless
On her birthday morning, my son slid it under her door so she would have it delivered – just like Harry Potter.
Do you have an 11 year old Harry Potter fan? Have you thought about creating an acceptance letter for them? I’d love to hear!
