City of Presidents Rapid City, South Dakota
The actual GPS address is 631 SD-79, Rapid City, SD 57701 but there is no specific place to park. We had envisioned an actual park where you could see all the presidents, but instead it’s more of a city walk or scavenger hunt experience. You can park anywhere along St Joseph or 7th street and begin your walk.

When you come up to the first corner, you will find your first bronze statue. Look across the street and you will probably see one on each corner.

We didn’t see a particular order for how the presidents are places on the street corners. But if you keep walking each city block, you will find most of them.

Tip: If you plan to take a picture of each of them, do yourself a favor and also take a picture of the name plaque. Unless you are a full US history buff, you may not recognize some of them after you walk away.
Things to know:
- There is no admission fee to view the statues.
- Parking is available on the street.
- If you plan to view all the Presidents statues, you may want to take a bottle of water. This full path could take a little bit of time to walk around them all.
- There is a downtown city park on Main Street with some water features if you have kids.

Hats for the Homeless (Winter)
After we returned home, we learned that one of the local traditions is to dress up some of the Presidents with hats, scarves, and gloves for the homeless population. What a great way to help the local people who don’t have all the warm weather clothes while doing something fun in the community.
