Anne’s Hardest Quilt Square

My friend Anne has made some amazing quilts over the past few years! Earlier this week, she shared this newest quilting square that she has been working on.

From Anne:

I thought I would share with my quilting friends the hardest square I have ever attempted. It is beautiful and I am determined to conquer it. It’s not for the beginner. One MUST BE very precise in cutting and exacting in stitching the 1/4″ seam. And if that’s not enough there’s the Y-seams to accomplish. I have finished 2 squares and I have included a picture of the Better one.

She also sent me a picture of her newly finished custom built sewing/quilting table. Isn’t it a beautiful place to start creating?

I have to admit that I’m quite impressed! I know how much work it is to create a basic nine patch and am nowhere near ready to begin to tackle this pattern (but I can definitely appreciate the beauty!).
