Turn your Photos into Wall Art

Hobbies on a Budget received sample products to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own. No monetary compensation was received.

Do you have special photos that just make you smile ever time you look at them? These may not be studio shots or pictures taken by a professional photographer, but they are the photos that capture your favorite moments. Recently I had the opportunity to work with Adoramapix and create some fun wall art using my favorite photos. Now even when I head in to do my laundry I can enjoy the smiles of my kids.

Turn your Photos into Wall Art

Creating wall art with AdoramaPix is as easy as uploading your pictures, choosing the size and shape of your finished product, then ordering. I love the option to view in 3D so you can literally move the image around and see how it looks from all angles.

AdoramaPix is all about high quality prints, attentive service and the best darn prices around. You know the Adorama name; Adorama Camera has been around for over 25 years, serving the New York City photographic community. Our 18th Street store has it all, selling and renting new and used cameras and every imaginable accessory right down to the frames or portfolios to display your digital photography. When we say everything photographic, we mean it.

Metal Prints

I was intrigued by the idea of a metal print for my photos. I have this picture of the kids that I absolutely love. Every time I see it on the computer I just have to smile. I wanted something special and unique to help me enjoy this picture for years to come. I decided to try it as a metal print.

If you like metallic photo paper you’ll love Metal Prints from AdoramaPix! We infuse your images right into the surface of a solid sheet of metal.

Since I want to hang it in my bathroom, I decided to see what would happen if the metal print gets wet. I actually sprayed some water on the metal print to see if it would easily dry. I had no problem wiping off the water drops so I even tried some foam hand soap. Again, no problem. The picture is seriously attached to the metal. We’ve tried putting a brush on the picture and thumping it with our fingers. No issues at all. I love the look and feel confident it can handle the test of time!

Acrylic Print

The acrylic prints can be ordered in rectangle, oval or heart shapes and are a really heavy, durable plastic that almost feels like glass. This is a fun piece that I have added to my laundry room. After all, I spend quite a bit of time in that room, so I may as well see the smiles of the kids I love that give me so much dirty clothes!

See your photos come to life with the vibrant color, crisp detail, and contemporary styling provided by printing on professional grade acrylic.

Canvas Print

Canvas prints are a popular option for photo decor in many homes. It is a a great way to enjoy the pictures of the people that you love. You can choose to have your print stretched around the frame, mirrored around the edge or just put a solid border around the sides. There is a simple button that lets you view your product in 3D so you can see what the edges look like.

Custom Framing

The last item I ordered was a custom frame that I have been wanting to hang in my home for several years. I have this unique set of Alphabet Photo Fonts that I have wanted to use to spell our last name. I uploaded the letters of our last name and was able to go through each step of the custom framing order. You can choose how many openings you want, what color matte you want, and pick the frame you think looks best for your order. This was a very intuitive process that flowed from one step to the next.
