If you have a sport you love or a music style that gets you moving, you can probably find a Hall of Fame that celebrates the great performers and athletes in that arena. Over the years, we’ve been able to visit a few of these Hall of Fames and marvel in the achievements that each of the celebrities in that field has done. Hall of Fames are a great place to visit on vacation because they are typically interactive and specialized for the activity that you love.

25 Hall of Fames in the US

Years ago, my husband and I took a road trip. We covered almost 4000 miles in 6 days. We started in Western KY and headed up through Michigan, over to Niagara Falls on the Canada side, through New York City (somehow we found ourselves driving straight through Times Square), visited the Basketball Hall of Fame in Massachusetts, the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, came back and visited Pittsburgh, Gettysburg, Antietam Battlefield and arrived home with rolls and rolls of film and memories that would last a lifetime. It was an amazing road trip!

So of course when we took the kids back on a New England road trip, we had to revisit some of our favorite Hall of Fames, including the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
