A Smart Camera that Fits My Life #SocialCamera #cbias

As part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I went to Walmart to buy a new Samsung WB200 Camera. Our family was heading out on an overnight vacation last week and I decided I would love to try a smaller camera that was more travel friendly than my current point and shoot camera. I wanted a smart camera that fits my life and gives me the option of dropping it in my pocket while we were out exploring some of our nation’s popular landmarks.

A Smart Camera that Fits My Life

My daughter and I went to Walmart to buy the camera and the supplies we needed for our road trip. We always make sure to stock our cooler with water bottles, juice packs, cokes, granola bars and a few other snacks. We easily found the Samsung WB200 camera and discovered that it was even on sale! What a nice surprise!

Our travel tip: We always buy the kids a new notebook when we take a vacation. This gives them a chance to journal about the trip or have drawing contests on the road!

camera that fits my life

The Samsung WB200 Camera offers many features – probably more than I will actually use. But my son on the other hand has discovered some really cool edits and options that are making this camera perfect for the family.

Samsung WB200 features

The camera allows you to do collages instantly. You can take a series of 3 images and instantly layer them together vertically or horizontally.

If you have access to wi-fi, you can connect this camera to your smart phone or social media account. Simply download the free Samsung Camera app, connect via the wireless code that shows up on your device, and click a button. Immediately, you are able to view pictures from your camera on your phone.

There is even a button that allows the phone user to see what you are seeing through the camera viewfinder. What a fun way to share an event with a grandparent who can’t attend a concert or ball game!

Slim Size of the Samsung WB200

I never leave home without my sunglasses and my camera. But usually I carry my black point and shoot camera around my neck like a tourist. True, I get great pictures usually; but I also have the bulky weight of the camera to deal with. One of the things I like about this Samsung camera is the size. It easily fits in my pocket, but it still delivers 14 megapixel resolution and 18x optical long zoom. This little camera is small, but it definitely has given me some great shots!

I took this camera on our 40 hour, 1000 mile, 3 state road trip last week and captured some great shots. Here are a few of my favorites – courtesy of the Samsung WB200 Camera.

My phone doesn’t ever give me as good a pictures as my P&S! I use it only for emergencies. I can’t imagine going anywhere without my camera! And this one is really about the same size as the phone anyway! With your girls, you do need a camera Kate!
