When you are brand new to a foreign country, it really helps to have someone who is there to help you find your way. For Cara Hamilton, a young single Irish lady, she finds that supporter in Rourke Walsh. But with her secret, is Rourke going to be the help or the problem? No Safe Harbor is a great mix of intrigue and mysterious backgrounds with just enough of a romantic plot-line to keep it interesting. The turn of the century was a time of great change in our country. This book captures the heart of how it must have felt to be all alone, wanting a new life in a new country, trying to find family connections and never knowing whom you can trust.

Despite her brother’s warning, Cara decides to trust Rourke and reveals the truth about her purpose in America.
